Logging in and Passwords


  • Your username/user ID/login ID is your email address. When you create your login, you must create your password. The password must adhere to the following rules:
    • Must be eight (8) to fifteen (15) characters long
    • Must contain at least one (1) number
  • You must be a member of the SSCA.
  • You must have an email address. If you are an SSCA member, and you do NOT have an email address, then you should access the Member Pages via someone who does have an email address and is an SSCA member.
  • The Members Data Base contains your email address. If you attempt to login or create a login with an email address that is not in the data base, then you will be denied access.

Since you are new to the Members Section, you must create a login for yourself.
All dues paying SSCA members must create their own passwords.

  1. Click the "Create Login" button on the left side of the screen.
  2. On the "Create Your Login Profile" page, you input your email address in both input boxes - username box and password box.
  3. The program determines that your username and passwords match. Then internally, your password is reset to a default value.
  4. You will receive an email with this default password.
  5. Open the email and copy that default password.
  6. Back at the Members Section home page, in the box on the right. enter your email address into the "User Name " field.
  7. Paste the default password from the email into the Password box.
  8. The program verifies that the password you entered is the default one. It will post a form that requires you to input a password of your choice. After changing your password, you can proceed into the member section.
  9. If you do not change your password at this point, you will not be allow to proceed.
